Hello there~
*Insert a picture of Obi Wan's face*
Yesterday, 18/01/2019 was such an eventful day! I attended Pretty Pastel Party - a charity event raising money for Australian bushfire relief charities - hosted by the stunning Pretty Pastel Please (Alex)! But before I start writing about my experience, let's check out Alex's Australian Bush Fire Emergency Fund Raiser Go Fund Me! It's raised over $25 000 (currently at $28 261!!) Isn't that absolutely amazing? Go donate if you haven't already!
Anyways...
The event started a bit later than scheduled because of an eyelash malfunction (something that happens to me almost every time I apply them. Why is it such a challenge to make them look even?) But once that was fixed, Alex went down the line greeting people until the doors open and a rush for the clothes ensued.
Inside, it was so surreal! I was seeing things I've only seen through my computer screen (like the infamous cherry skirt!) in person! Words cannot describe how amazing it felt to be there~
(Sorry, I didn't think to take photos at the event...)
But of course, as a lover of Japanese fashion, my target was clear - the rack with clothes from Japan! And boy, was I successful! I picked up the white cat shirt that Alex showed in her closet clear out video, an awesome pair of flared jeans from Pink Latte, a beautiful Liz Lisa (my favourite brand) coat which is an amazing haul!
After paying for my mini-haul, I spoke to Tiasha was was a total gem!approached Alex to say hi and show her my haul (heehee~) She was so sweet and down to earth! If I weren't so nervous, I would've felt like I was talking to a friend! Oh and did I mention she was also super beautiful in person as well? \(≧▽≦)/
Back to the event!! After I bought those Pink Latte jeans, I knew I HAD to find something to go with them and after a bit of searching, I found this cute Arial top~ >w<
Annnnnnnd that's all there is, there isn't anymore~

I saw this in Alex's closet declutter video in the lead up to the event and knew I had to search for it!

I love how over the top these jeans are and knew I HAD to get them!!

Himekaji is my favourite style so how could I say no to Liz Lisa?

A few heart shortbread cookies with pink icing later, (no pics since I ate them already ;A; but they were so buttery and melt in the mouth~ (っˆڡˆς)) I lined up to take a picture with Alex at the photo booth. Down to my last dollar, all I could afford was a selfie - or that was what I thought! Once it was my turn, I felt a bit embarrassed as I let Alex know I couldn't afford the photo package (a printed photo and a digital copy sent to my email) and she was so kind! She let me have the package even though I didn't have the money. I am so thankful. Oh, and did it mentioned? She asked for my Instagram username and followed my personal account!! *screams internally* Alex is way too kind and sweet!

My photo with Alex - isn't she so photogenic? I'm envious! Also, please ignore my awkward V hands I’m not good at posing for pictures so it’s kind of something I do without really thinking >.<
See you in my next post!! (Let's hope it's soon XD)
Blogger's note: I meant to post this sooner but trying to take good photos is so time consuming! In the end, I was still not completely satisfied with my photos since I couldn't keep my lighting consistent but they were the best ones I had in the end. I hoped taking them outside would help buuuuuut...
